The Distance Between Signals
This is a self-initiated concept study exploring sound, image and spatial presentation.
A film score for images transmitted from the edge of an unnamed coast.
Restrained electronics, processed field recordings and close-miked materials create a score that remains attached to the image without explaining it.
The project establishes the cinematic vocabulary that continues through the current archive.
